How do I make reservations?

You may make reservations through our online booking engine which is located in the right column of our web site or you may call the Seawolf Suites Reservations line at 707-664-4091. All reservations must be made with a valid credit card.

Why does it say "There are no available rooms..." when I try to make reservations?

Either we are booked for the dates you entered or we don't have a suite large enough to accommodate the number of people you entered into the booking engine. The Tuscany Townhouses sleep up to 6 guests, while rooms in a shared townhouse can sleep 1 or 2 guests. If you would like to reserve more than 1 townhouse, please make 2 separate online reservations or call us at 707-664-4091 to make phone reservations.

Will my credit card be charged immediately?

Yes. We process your credit card for the full amount of your reservation upon the completion of the online or phone process.. Please see our cancellation policy for information regarding refunds.

Is there a security deposit, cleaning fee?

No. Cleaning fees are included in the rates. We will charge the card used to make reservations for any damages to the facility and send an updated statement to the email address on file.

What is the cancellation policy?

To cancel your reservations, please call 707-664-4091 or email reservations@sonoma.edu M-F 8:00A – 4:30P. To receive a full refund minus a $25.00 admin fee, please make cancellations more than 72 hours in advance of your check-in date. Cancellations made within 72 hours of your check-in date shall not be eligible for any refunds. Refunds shall be issued via check and may take up to 20 business days to receive.

I made reservations, but have not received a confirmation email. What should I do?

Confirmation emails are automatically generated based on the information you have supplied. If you did not receive a confirmation, please call us at 707-664-4091 or email our reservations manager at Reservations@sonoma.edu. Please provide the last name and the dates of the reservation.

What are your check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is after 1:00p and check-out is before 11:00A. The Seawolf Suites operate a self-check-in system, so after hour arrivals are not an issue. Key cards do not have to be returned upon check-out.

What is the check-in process?

Generally, the Seawolf Suites Program operates a self check-in system like a vacation rental. Within 4 days of check-in, an email will be sent which will include a map to the Tuscany Village townhouse you have reserved as well as a pin code for getting into the front door. Located in the kitchen of the suite will be key cards which allow access to the front door as well as the bedroom(s) you have reserved.

Is there a front Desk? Who do I contact if I need assistance?

While the Seawolf Suites Operate a self check-in system, we do have a 24 hour Desk located in Sauvignon Village and depending on occupancy will operate a service desk in Tuscany Village. Should you have any questions or concerns, please call our Seawolf Suites message line at 707-874-8778 which is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Are towels and linens provided? Are housekeeping services available?

Towels and linens are provided in all Seawolf Suites. Extra linen and blankets are located in the closet. If you need extra blankets, towels, or pillows, please call the Seawolf Suites line at 707-874-8778. There is no daily housekeeping. Service can be arranged for stays longer than 3 nights and will be charged an additional fee.

Are telephones available?

There are no phone lines in our Seawolf Suites. Good cell phone signals for all the major carriers are obtainable in all suites and pay phones are located in central locations of the residential community.

What are the hours for the pool and hot tub?

The residential pools and hot tubs in Tuscany and Zinfandel Villages are open from 7:00A - 11:00P. Access to the pool area is granted using your room key.

Are dishes provided for the kitchen?

The Tuscany Townhouse - Deluxe option includes basic kitchen items such as dishes, utensils, pots and pans, etc. All kitchens have full sized refrigerators, microwaves, stoves and ovens.

Is there internet in the townhouses?

All Seawolf Suite accommodations come with free Wireless internet usage. We do ask that this free service is added at the end of the online booking process as specific usernames and passwords are generated based on the room reserved. Usernames, passwords, and directions are included on your key card envelope located on the kitchen table. All townhouses also have wired internet connections.

What food options are available?

There are several dining options available on campus. Please visit the University Dining page for more information for hours of operation and menus. There are also several off-campus establishments across the street in the Wolf Den Plaza. For group catered services, please check-out our excellent University Catering program.

Can I get extra room keys?

Extra room keys can be made at the Sauvignon 24 hour desk. Valid identification must be presented to acquire additional room keys.

Where do I park? What does it cost?

Parking is readily available right outside of each townhouse complex. Parking is $5.00 per night and can be added at the end of the online booking process. Daily permits can be purchased for $2.50 per day at any of the campus machines for parking in Non-Residential and Non-Reserved Lots. Trailers and large recreation vehicles that require multiple spaces should purchase permits for each space they occupy and may be required to register with Police Services.

Can I sleep in my RV or a tent on campus?

Sleeping overnight in any vehicle or outside area with or without shelter is prohibited.

What are the policies on smoking and alcohol?

No smoking will be allowed inside any building on campus, including residential suites and apartments. Smoking outside is permitted if further than 20 feet from any building. Smoking is not permitted on balconies or patios. Alcohol is permitted inside Seawolf Suite buildings only and is not allowed in quad areas, balconies or patios. Persons under the age of 21 may not be in possession of alcohol at any time.

Am I responsible for cleaning before departure?

Cleaning fees are incorporated into our rates. However excessive garbage or damages to the townhouses may incur additional cleaning/maintenance fees. While we do our best to recover all lost and found items, all consumables are thrown out by our housekeeping staff.

Can I bring our Family pet?

Family pets are not allowed in the Seawolf Suites.

What public transportation options are available to/from campus?

Sonoma County Public Transit has routes (44-48) that stop on campus. Shuttle service from the airports are provided by Airport Express. Golden Gate Transit also has routes from San Francisco to Rohnert Park.

Will there be SSU residents living in the same buildings as the Seawolf Suites?

No. Summer Housing for SSU students is located in a different Village. The Seawolf Suites and Tuscany Village may be occupied by other travelers or professional conference groups throughout the summer.

What are the noise policies?

Quiet hours are 11:00p - 7:00A. Outside activities in the Tuscany Village should not be scheduled within this time frame. The general policy is that noise (e.g. music, talking, playing) is to be kept at a level, which is not disruptive. The use of drums or amplified instruments is not permitted in the suites. The bouncing of balls or other objects against the floor, ceiling, or walls inside a suite or building is not permitted.
